Default OT: Auf Wiedersehen.....

As many of you close to me already know, I have accepted a position in R&D with Porsche AG. I will be splitting my time between my office in Zuffenhausen and our research facility in Weissach. This has been a tough decision, but after 30 years in technology with IBM, I am excited about the change. I also want to extend an invitation to all my Porsche friends to come and visit anytime. If you just ask for Herr Straub, I think security will point you in the right direction. Most of all, I would like to wish everyone a happy April 1st.

I can't believe you didn't tell me about this before! As soon as you get there will post that file that disables the immobilizer and sets the emission readiness codes?

If this isn't the best April 1st announcement I've seen today, it's right up there at the top of the list. Congratulations!

What Herr Straub failed to mention is that the "R&D" job is actually in the Receive and Deliveries department. I'm sure part of the appeal is that you're one of the few guys who really looks good in lederhosen. Don't let your knees get cold.

Why would someone who lives in So Cal and drives a 911, move to Germany? Does not make sense so I'm concluding this is an April fools joke.

Nothing gets past you

Perhaps the last line will help: "Most of all, I would like to wish everyone a happy April 1st."

Nice one Paul!
