Default How long do the 1995 Porsche 993 Engines Last?

First of all thanks to all who replied to my last post about
irregular reving. Being a new Porsche owner its helpful to have
feedback.

I have a 1995 Porsche 993 c2.
I have 95 000 miles on the engine and was just wondering
if anyone know what the life expectancy is for these engines.
Feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Do you mean without a rebuild? I have heard of the first rebuild being required anywhere from 30,000 to 120,000 plus miles. After that, these engines go a long time - I think there was a thread recently about who had the highest mileage and it was over 250,000 miles.

Engines last for 850,000 miles, if properly maintained.
