Underneath, I'm sure it's all about self-loathing. This ad is a cry for help.

I don't know, maybe he has a very specific market in mind for the car, and is targeting that market. If that's the case, he should try DuPont Registry...

I looked at the white C2S he is selling first. He had me convinced that he was an enthusiast with the yak yak on that ad. I'd have bought him a beer and talked cars. Then I looked at the turbo ad. If was looking for a turbo I wouldn't call that guy. I don't want to speak to him.

Must be an entirely different demographic, C2S vs turbo?

I'm going to buy it. My current 993 is not working as well as this one promises.

It's the "take away". Some sales people use this tactic to make the buyer think that they're not rich enough, good enough, etc. to buy the product in the hopes that the reverse "psychology" will force the buyer to think that he is rich/good enough to make the purchase.

If anything, this seller should be taken away.

I just came across it too and posted it in another thread. Check out the description on the Ferrari 308 he has listed.

I sold my former 993 Targa to the seller years ago when he was building his collection. Very strange transaction, but I got paid before the car left my garage.

Now that's funny. His eBay listing is classless and should be deleted.

He's got it listed twice... is that appropriate? This listing is better.
