Default Too low?

What ride height is everyone running?

I measured from ground to underside of fender lip and rocker to ensure a slight "rake" prior to corner balance. Front still looks too low for the rear.

Thoughts?

I would agree, looks like too much rake to my eye..... I would use RS spec as a base line and go higher or lower from there... RS spec is 124mm front 107mm rear.

The other thing, don’t use the body to measure ride height, it can be off considerably... Use the factory frame locations (I’m sure someone can dig up picture/diagram if you don’t have them).

Ahh yes, I remember reading about that while trolling prior to becoming a member. Thank you for the reminder.

In the third pic, the front does look too low compared to the front. Beautiful car Sicko!

Car is too loud to get it back on the ramps last night without waking the neighbors..but shoudl be sitting correct tonight.

May consider additng a 5mm spacer to each rear as well to match the front. On 18x8.5 and 18x11 each at +45, Kudos to Thatcher on offset info. Yes, front is perfect, but rear could come out to 40mm with the 11" rear.

Will post pics of the update.

Thank you all for the kind comments.

BTW: Mazda CX-7. Not my first choice, but we have Ford A plan and liked it better than the Edge....However after 3 years of ownership, I have to admit it is a very fun vehicle. Thrashy turbo 4 cyl around town, but scoots on the freeway and handles like a champ evcen with AWD off road capability as discovered while renting a tree house in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Next best thing to an Audi AllRoad.

Are you sure that the front is 8.5ET45?

Here is something from my files that was posted on RL previously

USA Standard: Front 174mm, Rear 157mm
USA Sport: Front 174mm, Rear 157mm

ROW Standard: Front 154mm, Rear 147mm
ROW Sport: Front 144mm, Rear 127mm

Carrera S/4S: Same as Sport for USA / ROW as appropriate
Carrera RS: Front 124mm, Rear 107mm

(Measurements are plus/minus 10mm)

These ride heights are relative to Porsche specified suspension reference points, which are illustrated below. Although we often speak in terms of fender heights out of convenience (typically measured from the ground, through the center of the wheel, to the fender), the most accurate measurements will be based on the reference points. That being said, most 993s using ROW Standard or Sport settings have fender heights of about 25¼” to about 25¾”. As a rule of thumb, the front fender height should be about ¼” HIGHER than the rear fender height to achieve the desired 1 degree downslope (yes, that sentence is correct. ).

My settings are about 25" front and 24 3/8 rear (fender).

Love the look of your car and the Fikse wheels are just the best.

The key is to get the ride heights relative to the suspension points (See above) correct. Once that is correct, the fender height and rake on the car should be correct.

w/ RS wheel carriers and solid rear side mounts you can go lower than the RS min spec
