Default FS: Volk Racing TE37 18" Wheels Bronze

So I'm putting up my volks for sale. Price lowered to $2200.

18x8.5 50mm offset Sumitomo HTR ZII 225/40/18 75% tread life
18x10 50mm offset Sumitomo HTR ZIII 285/30/18 75% tread life

This wheel/tire setup fits my narrowbody carrera without rubbing. I'm not sure if my fenders are rolled but I suspect they are.

Cosmetically, I would give the wheels a 7/10. One issue is that the rear driver's side wheel lip is very very very slightly bent. There is no vibration from the wheel, the car drives straight and true at well into three digit speeds. No functional issues, but something I personally would fix just because it's not perfect. This is definitely something very minimal and absolutely fixable.

These wheels are LIGHT!! I weighed the 18x8.5 at 17.9 lbs and the 18x10 at 19.6 lbs.

Pics to come, but took at my signature pic to get an idea of what they look like on the car.

Those look astonishing. I must say that I am in love. Bronze on white is THE color combination.

Thanks!! Yes, I really enjoy the color combo as well. Not quite as flashy as gold due to the darker hue, but still eye catching.

I have a set of these wheels. They're not only very light but very very well made.

Jimmy, are the rears really a 50 offset? I had to roll my fenders with a 60 offset at below RS ride height.

Default Volk TE-37

FWIW, I purchased a similar set from Al Z (RL) last fall. They were gunmetal grey and the rear offsets are 60mm (not 50). Had them powdercoated oem silver and deleted the "decals". These are some of the lightest 18" wheels out there and balanced almost perfectly. I sprayed the plain center caps a matching silver and affixed 3D Porsche oem "crests" (eBay available, smaller than oem crest caps tho). IMHO, these forged monoblocks look just right on a 993--nearly as good as the new repro Fuchs. If OP's wheels need touching up, the powdercoating cost me $100/wheel.

If I didnt get my hre's I would really consider them. I forgot the formula but when I computed for every 4 lbs saved in rotating mass its like gaining 25 hp. Being a cyclist, one can really feel the benefit of a light wheelset. Some guys even spend usd4k for a carbon lightweight set!

Nothing wrong with putting Japanese wheels on my car!
