Default Wheel restoration recomendations.

I am located in Pennsylvania and would like to get my 18" 10 spoke wheels redone. They are a two piece design. Not cracked or abused. Just some curb rash on the lip. I would prefer to not ship them to far but getting a quality, durable job is most important to me. Thanks in advance for your recommendations / advice

Al Reed Polishing in S. California. He is probably the most used refinisher for P-car wheels.

For Fuchs, yes. But for anything else, every major city has a decent refinisher, IMO.

For a little extra $$ to ship back/forth, strongly recommend Jim Dorociak in California. Not only is he a picasso with p-car wheels, but also a Rennlist member who contributes a lot here, etc. To give you an idea of the type of person you are dealing with, he provided countless emails answering my questions about Speedlines, refinishing, etc. When I offered him a modest paypal payment for all his time and advice (because I didnt end up buying wheels from him) he wouldnt take it.

This gives you an idea about his work

I have spoken directly with people that have received his refinished wheels and all describe them as immaculate and better than new.

No affiliation, blah blah... just an admirer. When my Speedlines eventually need refinishing they are going to him.
