White gauges vs new odometer?

I'll try & take a couple of pics. At night, mine are not the best. I can see everything, but it takes more time, & focus. During the day, I have a hard time seeing the turn signal lights. I do think the stock black ones to be better at night. I may have to pull out the gauge & make sure all the bulbs are working. I had a few spares, but they fell out of my tool box, & I stepped on them, breaking quite a few.
My interior is all black, & have tinted windows. Really just about everything in the car is hard to see.

BTW, about them bulbs. I will soon have a set of gauges for sale (replaced NR-faced gauges with black ones) and one of the gauges is missing a couple bulbs. I see that yellow based bulbs are cheap, like $2 or so. But blue-based ones are $7-8 a pop. Is that right?
