well, it'll be good for networking-meeting alot of the folks on this forum. Most important, you'll be able to see many color combo's/wheels/listen to various 993 exhaust's etc there.

Last year I was looking for a car too, no luck. Did meet lots of great people, engaged in lots of Porsche talk...and saw lots and lots of 993's.

Bring business cards to slip under the wipers maybe, and bring money for stuff.

I can't wait for this swap meet. Last year was great working the entrance, seeing and hearing everyone come in.

I've never been too impressed with the swap meet. There seems to be a lot of people pedaling their wears who do this for a living or hobby. Their prices seem very high and quality not so high. It may be great for owners of 356s looking for a rare part.

Agreed. The swap itself is pretty poor but the crowd, cars, etc. more than make up for it

Ich auch (+1). DC/MD/VA peeps interested in a caravan: should we pick a meet up spot(s) along the way? I'll cross post this on Dorki.

The swap meet definitely seems geared towards the older car crowd or the people looking for prints and toys. I check out some of the aftermarket vendors but I generally go to wander the parking lot and look at all the unique, rare Porsches and exotics.

No Poker for me, I'm buying for two cars (mainly the '88 Cab). I can't afford Poker!

I am, but I'll need to coordinate with a friend of mine who's thinking of coming along to share my spot to sell P-car parts we no longer need. I'll keep an eye on this thread to see what the plans are.

Hey, I see most of you guys are in DC/Silver Spring area. There's a Best Buy right off of Rt 175 at 95N. Want to meet there before heading north?
