Shoot and interview were in Nov/Dec 2010. The years and years of waiting was because of some scheduling conflicts. I was right in the middle of finishing school and moving from Houston to NYC the first few times Zach Mayne tried to meet up with me.

RDS928S - Would love to. Unfortunately the car resides in TX. I heard that MMC is closed to outside groups this year?

MarinS4 - Quite low but perfect for my capabilities as a driver. The engine still needs to be built. I finished the external modification and wanted to enjoy the car for a bit. I was also in school. Next thing I knew, I was packing up to move to NYC. Higher hp will be chased when I have my own garage/workshop again. Would love to see 800 eventually when there arent more pressing concerns.

That makes sense. I am running 7 PSI on stock 11.2 CR and making 430WHP.

It must be torture being in NY and not having your car to play with.

If you are happy with the current power levels (I know I am) consider changing the CHRA's to the GT28RS. At low boost/power levels they are much better fit than the GT30's. While you won't gain much if any overall HP the power delivery will be much better. Near zero lag. CHRA's are about $1,100 each.

I speak from experance. My car came with the GT30 compressors. I dropped them down to the GT28RS and gained power everywhere. Boost response was cut in half. Reading the compressor MAPs I now understand why. I would be happy to show you what I am talking about off line.

We'll see, Tim. No word yet but I think we're getting close. They are chasing the friend of Pete Stout's to get his input which I'm willing to wait for ... Hope Springs eternal ..

Isn't it missing a rear wing?

Congratulations, awesome 993. I've enjoyed the stuff on your car I've seen online

Hopefully my copy of the mag will actually show up this time. I had to beg for the last one... and we paid for an ad in it

+1. I bought the last issue @ the local grocery store. Still hasn't arrived in the mail and yet here's the new issue online. Kind of defeats the purpose of a paid subscription.

Wow! This car certainly ups the ante for RL builds! So much artisan work.
