FS: RH 3-Piece 3.6 Turbo Speedline Replica Wheels 18x8 & 18x10
Well, I've changed my mind again... I wanted to put these on the C4S but have recently ordered a different set of wheels.
So for sale are 4 Porsche 3.6 Turbo Speedline replica wheels manufactured by RH in Germany. They are 3 piece wheels and have the correct 40-bolt pattern. Earlier versions had 36 bolts.
Dimensions:
Front 18 X 8 ET 52
Rear 18 X 10 ET 54
They will fit on any narrow body 964, 993, 996, as well as 986 Boxster, 964 turbo, and WB 993 and 996 cars with a 15-20mm spacer in the rear. They will also fit on 85.5 and later 944/951 and 968 cars.
The wheels are perfectly round and have no bends. There are two cosmetic issues with them:
1. One of the front wheels has some marks in the five spoke piece. All other 3 wheels have prefect, as new, 5-spoke centers.
2. Two of the wheels, one front and one rear, have some curb rash on the rim edges. It can be sanded and polished relatively easy.
Other than that they look great. The colored Porsche crest center caps are absolutely in pristine condition and included as well. List price is about $1000 for each wheel these days through RH or a distributor.
I've heard of people here saying that the lips are on the softer side, but after researching more and speaking with people in Europe I've found that they have had no such issues with the wheels and that tires play a large role - European tires (Continental, Pirelli, Michelin) have softer sidewalls that absorb bumps better than US/Japanese tires and protect the wheels.
I'm asking $2,500 for them.
Shipping is extra but I have both FedEx and UPS accounts and can get a slightly discounted shipping rate. Located in Manhattan.

One of my favorites. I was ready to pull the trigger about 4 years ago-RH was having a sale. And then a set of A8's came along.....
Mike knows the rest of the story. I believe I'd still have the 3.6's. I just sold the A8's.....
I figured the RH's would go quick. Congratulation on the sale. I'll bet there's a happy person on the other end of that deal. They look great on 993's.
What's next?

Actually, nothing... I've decided to keep the Carrera III wheels. They are light weight, simple and elegant in my view. The 2- and 3-piece wheels are beautiful, like art, but seem too flashy and scream look at me. I may change my decision at some point again, but right now I'm in the mindset of less is more.
