Default Question about the "rennlist spirit"

So my buddy is starting the hunt for a nice 84-89 911. Are the peps over on the 911 forum as great as we are here about rennfax, ppi advice, helping each other ect....?
My impression has been that the 993 forum is by far the busiest one, but I'd love for him to have a similar resource. How about Pelican?
Those with experience, chime in with suggestions! I'm going to send him a link to this thread.
Thanks in advance.

I think the 911 thread is just as good. I spend time there and find everyone quite helpful.

When I had my 3.2 Carrera I found that I would get more information/answers on Pelican vs Rennlist. Just my opinion. Rennlist is much better on 993 info. compared to Pelican.
