Mike this is exactly the info my technician friend (he will oversee my install) was hoping to find. Thanks so much!

Any chance you have the same for the 996 heated sporties I am installing?

Pin 4 - +12 for seat cushion height control rear, seat backrest control
Pin 5 - Ground Lumbar
Pin 6 - +12 Lumbar
Pin 7 - Ground - seat cushion height control front, seat back forward control
Pin 8 - + 12 - seat cushion height control front, seat back forward control

The heater wire is a 1.0 diameter, the rest are 1.5, so the motors take more power than the seat heater.

So far 5 Rennlisters have expressed interest in my 993 hardbacks. Hopefully in a week I will have them out of the car and ready for sale. I'll come up with an asking price at that time as well.

They are not heated, and are black with black backs from the factory. Very, very nice condition. These are coming out of my '95 993 C4 with option codes 373 and 374.

Code Option Description
373 Left Sport Seat w/ Power Height Adjuster
374 Right Sport Seat w/ Power Height Adjuster

rc1320 , tjeff993 , ginch , hoggel and FlatSix911 would get first consideration in that order, and then if anyone else chimes in.

Update... my 996 sporties are in and working well. Easy mod, don't know what all the fuss is about. They fit and work great!

My 993 hardbacks are out of the car and ready for sale. I'm currently going down my list of r-listers who have expressed interest. Should no sale happen with any of those peeps I'll make a 4-sale thread. If anyone else wants their name in the hat say the word.

Kie, did you ever find a diagram for the heating circuit of the 996 seats? Also, is it true that they have a high and a low, or is it just off and on?
