Hood carpet pocket saggy?
Just posted this on a UK forum, dont know if it affects you guys so much..
We all know about the saggy warning triangle pocket in the front boot carpet on 993's. drives you mad doesn't it?
Well, here is my top tip for today, cut the bottom section off a classic wire coat hanger, make a small hole in the binding (on the inside edge so it cant be seen)and slide the wire in! No more saggy pocket! Simples....

I like your work! Your solution is elegant.
I got sick of mine about 6 years ago - so when having the carpet customised for the (same) carbon strut brace the upholsterer added a dome. Mine had gone quite out of shape due to me having a small fire extinguisher there (before I installed a seat mounted race bracket). The good thng about the dome is it holds stuff in there firmly. I did buy one of those warning trinagles but they are so damn heavy and of no legal requirement here so I just left it out.
So heres my version as another alternative...

Hi All,
I used a steam iron and ironed/steamed the pocket back to the original shape.
This also worked for the cardboard/masonite in the base of the boot carpet over the spare tyre.
Thanks,
Neil

Yeah, just bought the clip for $35 from the UK, and now find an elegantly simple $0 solution.
One way or another, that damn pocket is going to get properly "aroused".

911Pervy - awesome idea! I am heading out to buy myself a hanger this morning.
Seriously - first thing I am going to do when I take my car out of storage. Thanks,

Sorry about that! I must admit I prefer the invisable look the coat hanger achieves, not to mention the savings!
