Thoughts on value of 993 Cab Tip?

When you are in the hunt, you aim at anything that moves!
Seriously, when someone says their price is non negotiable (referring to the blue on tan in the photos), but they want to sell it (not just testing the market), it is only a matter of time that market realities smack them in the face.
My gut price for this car was in the low to mid $30s. Basic light maintenance has been done. Suspension, plugs, wires, cap, etc. has not. The Rennlister market value report is always helpful to me.
Thanks.

Wow, I like the car. Color combo is good for me as I have those Savanah Beige GT3 seats sitting in my garage.
But as someone that is looking at Cabs with a TipS I would be interested if the price was closer to what the market really is. It is not as soft as it was a couple of years ago - when I missed a 96 Adverturine Green Cab for $20k (later saw on a dealer site for $28k, LOL) but it is still soft for these cars.
There is a white 95 tip with a beige interior at $35k or so, 51000 on the clock IIRC. I looked at it but I really don't want to black or white as they are too hard to keep clean IMHO. I think Dan Pachtel of Carsinc in south Jersey has a white one for sale as well.

Thank you Craig for your thoughts.
Can you provide me with details on the white with beige Cab tip. That pricing is a much better starting point.
The midnight blue on tan is a great color combination but the pricing is over the top. Add to it some of the required repairs / replacements (likely PPI results) after 13 years and I am approaching turbo numbers.
Dan's white on black is a manual trans and he has been trying to sell if for over a year. Never looked at it.

Very nice looking car, but I think the price is a bit out of line. From what I've seen, tips seem to bring a little less than manuals. That said, anywhere between mid 20's to mid 30's would seem more reasonable.
I know that's a pretty lame estimate, but there are people asking stupid money for their cars and others that are pricing them VERY aggressively for a quick sale. Determine what you want and what you want to spend and work from there. For that kind of money you can shop some of the dealers that specialize in 993s... Tim Holt (not too far) comes to mind.
Best of luck in your search.
(BTW, my white car is much faster than my former midnight blue car )

I am in the hunt for a 993 cab tip. A few are on my radar.
This one popped up and want your views on fair pricing for this example.
1998 993 Cab Tiptronic.
2 (maybe 3) owner.
"Dark" blue exterior, tan interior
Some minor paint work on front left fender.
New tires
Maintained by the local Porsche dealer
No mods
Owner in his early 70s. Nice but not an enthusiast.
Bought it 5 years ago and put about 35K miles on her.
50,000 miles on her now.
Asking price is $41,750. Non negotiable!!
What do you think.
Thanks
Mark
