Thanks for posting pics. Nothing like a fresh set of wheels to give the ride a whole new look. Love them.

The most important thing to any paint job is the preparation prior to it and that is what concerns me with any re-finisher.

I wonder if them chemically stripped the wheels or abrasive blasted them?

Did you hand deliver and pick them up, or if they were shipped, how did you go about packaging?

100% better! Wow. Even the glossy inside is cool and will be easier to keep the pounds of brake dust off the rim that ususally accumulate. Nice job abd good find, Chuck. Also, thansk for sharing the contact. I too will be giving them a call to do a set of track rims when they come in.

Yes sir. I had them laid out in the family room and put a couple coats of wax on them. My wife loves it when I do things like that.

They told me they "media blast" them. I nodded my head like I knew what they were talking about. They have a lifetime warranty on their work so you would think they are doing it right.

I hand carried them it. However, I have packaged and shipped a lot of wheels. The easiest way is to get wheel boxes from a tire/wheel shop. The seller I bought these from got the boxes from FedEx and shipped the fronts in one box and the rear each in there own box. He padded them well and there were no issues.

The wheels are placed in a blast cabinet and using a pistol, they force air at high speed with glass beads through the nozzle of the pistol. You are essentially abrading away the finish...much like the front of your car due to road sand and stones. Soda blasting is more gentle.

How dust-free was the wheel finish? Even in areas not that visible such as the lug nut wells and back sides of the wheel. Any imperfections?

Chuck, Just as an fyi for down the road. If you don't clean off the center of wheel (mounting surface) down to aluminum you might have paint transfer to the brake disc and when you remove and then bolt up the wheel again you may create some runout.

I mistakenly saw this as freshly powder coated wheels for sale for $400! I was ready to drive over to your house Chuck after a stop at the bank.

They look great, BTW.
