All things being equal, I'd sooner pay the extra $15K for 30K less miles...if I was in that position. Based on the above numbers, that car would be worth $33.75K. Can you tell I'm stuck in bed with the flu.

$33.75K for a mid-mileage (at least in my book) TT? I agree with dcdude, I'd go with the higher miles Turbo, but then I'm not a fan of the WB except with a turbo. Of course all of it would be on dependent on the PPI results.

I would also, if I had a good reserve fund for parts.
This sort of reminds me of the pilot who wants to buy more plane than he can handle financially...say a very low priced Beech Baron with very little time left on the engines and props. Wait till he sees the overhaul costs on an IO-550.
I never get in over my head...not like many of those home owners down there.

I realize we are drifting OT here but I'm just curious about the comments about TT parts. It would seem that 90% of parts are interchangeable between NA and TT cars. I realize there are more engine parts and those components can be more expensive but are they prone to failure as well?
Like I said, not disagreeing, just trying to understand and a TT is on my short list for the future.

Price some turbos and associated ducting for starters. Brakes discs are more.
But who wouldn't want a low mileage 993 Turbo S? I prefer to retire early and enjoy life, but thats me. Based on personal experience, I already know life can be short.

Thanks Trini ,...it's $47,500 and there's no stories ,I sent it out west to a close friends shop where I had
the bumper refinished, the clutch and clutch slave replaced just this past month.
I received so many requests for info from buyers in california or arizona that were dissuaded by my
local that once my other turbo got done I sent this one to Los Angeles..
Just had a PPI done and the SOB tried to insinuate since a driving light was replaced and the bumper refinished and the oil cooler looked new it must have been repaired.
Oh and the only dash light on is for windsheild fluid low! LOL Still available
buyer never saw it and this was only second interested party ,tough market..

Some/most are. But then there are common parts like a clutch slave cylinder; $81 vs $935. Yikes!

Just like any other parts.

Me, I've already retired early.
