I have a 96 Targa and a few years ago I replaced the stock speedline wheels with some MY02 wheels and I love em.
It's taken me this long to get around to prepare the original wheels for sale, and after a lot of frustration I decided to take them down to metal and have them repainted professionally. Rather than saving the rusted dinged up bolts, 96 of them total, I spec'd the originals for load/strength and matched them, quite well in fact, through a commercial hardware supplier... color and all. Well I got them back from the blasters and WOW do they look nice. So nice, in fact, if i could leave them like they are, I might. I've attached some pics.
My main question is, in offering them for sale, should I:
* Repaint them to the original OEM silver (not sure of the color code but of course I'll look it up)
* Have them painted to whatever paint code the buyer wants as a condition of the sale.
* Offer them for sale as is, without primer or paint letting the buyer take care of it.
Any thoughts would be appreciated, after all there is no better audience.![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Thanks all.-jerry
PS ignore the date of the photos, i just took them last night.
