Interesting that you are stiffer in the front and lighter in the rear... wait that sounded bad...
The springs are super cheap through JIC so I am going to install mine and do a hack alignment to test them out for a weekend or two before dropping $300 on a real alignment.
My wife likes the ride of the stock US suspension, but I just can't handle how floaty the car is above 80 mph. New stock shocks would have probably helped, but the JIC's are so much cooler!

Oh, we can split the beer Glad to have helped (I really like JICs on my autocross appliance). But if Bill comes to Boston, I'm definitely buying him a beer! Thanks, Bill!

I am going to be shooting for somewhere right between ROW and RS height when I install mine. I still need to order the Walrod bushings, but hope to have mine done in the next month or so.
Bill, I was trying to search for where you posted your ride height but gave up. Could you please list them again. Your car looks great, but I don't think I would make it onto my driveway that low.
Camlob, did you go with the 7k / 11k springs?
I've used 7/10 & 8/12, the first is probably better for street use but I don't have a problem w/ the latter either.

the front/rear spring ratio is a big tuning tool wrt under/over steer.
7/10 f/r ratio .7
7/11 f/r ratio .64
8/10 f/r ratio .8
8/12 f/r ratio .67
Cup f/r ratio .75
stock 993 ~.8

the lower the # the less understeer

Pulled the trigger as well. Tired of the PSS9s. Debating between 8/11 and 8/10 for 70/30 Track/Street mix in a cab in Red run DE.

Guys, I'd be very interested in hearing your street impressions. Especially you, JPS, as Manhattan roads are just as bombed out as Boston's.

$1700 for JICs is a cracking price, though. Albeit my 993 is a street-only cab with very occasional non-competitive autocross on street tires.

PS. What's the scoop with PSS9? Too soft for track?

I had JICs on my last cab, PSS9s on this one.

On the track I REALLY liked them. They were stiff on the street, but I was a moron and never adjusted them. I think if I would have softened them up they would have been great.

I have the PSS9s now, and find them too soft on the track. If I don't remember to soften them up after the track, they are pretty bone jarring through Manhattan, but I don't drive it here much...mostly out of the city. When I do soften them, they seem fine on the street.
