Santa Barbara Porsche ride - 993, 997 GT3, Boxster
Hi all,
Here are some pics from a ride through Santa Barbara and the Santa Ynez valley.
We started the day with a quick blast up the 154 to solvang for some aebleskiver and coffee in the morning. Next, we drove down the 101 back to SB to pick up wives/GFs and grabbed a proper breakfast at Renaud's. We then went back up the 154 to meet up with some others and made our way through the backroads towards los alamos for lunch and played around solvang, refugio road, and painted cave road until the sun went down. It was a good mix of relaxing roads, fast rolling twisties, hairpin turns, Cows, and random stream crossings.

details on the Metallic(?) Black C4S...not a TT I presume.
What front spoiler is that, oem?
That is an RS rear wing also, right?
I'd love to see other photo's of that car, looks beautiful.
Were skiing here, no Pcars for the road till spring. Looks like you all had a great day.

That is pretty country, my wife and I went up there during the holidays in her car. Wine, wine and more wine. We met Ken (race911) and his wife for dinner at the Los Olivos Cafe one night. Great area, and great pics!

I would have loved to make the drive since I'm right down the road in Lompoc. Next time you get the opertunity you should drive out Santa Rosa Road which is right off the 101 starting in Buellton and comes out on Hwy 1. Or Harris Grade the other side of Lompoc. There is also another great route off of Hwy 246 that is a back route into Los Alamos with a lot of twists and turns and come back out on the 101.
