Ask in the Detailing/Concours forum ... Some good experts post in there.

All the info you could ever want about King Ranch leather.

http://www.f150online.com/forums/king-ranch-79/

With my truck I did some serious cleaning over an entire weekend. I nearly soaked the leather and foamed it up with saddle soap. It won't foam much though because aniline leather soaks up water fast. Then using 6 or 7 towels I soaked up as much water as I could. I even sucked water out of the leather through the towel to prevent scratches. I then treated it with a good conditioner and let it dry. After another day I treated it again... Then again... It wasn't good as new, but it was certainly much better.

Do you want to clean it up & soften it, or redye?

For cleaning you can NOT beat LeatherMaster, or Leatherique.
Start with Strong Cleaner, then Protection Cream, & lastly Vital.
