Need to ship a car. I need a shipper recommendation.

Almost four years ago I used Fed Ex, closed container from Chicago to Seattle. They were good and easy to deal with at that time. About $1,800 if I remember correctly. I'm sure others will chime in.

Demoise Trk-ing (don't know why they spell it that way). http://www.demoise.com/ They are very good, as good as anyone, and their rates are generally lower than FedEx and other reputable carriers.

Top Notch, talk to becky. im transporting my car with them right now (the 993 i just bought lol) and they are awesome. I did my research too, these people are cheap (compared to the other ones) and fast too. Their number is 360 546 1261. To put into perspective, they are shipping my car from California to Miami, Fl for 899 with a 5-7 day turn around time.

FWIW you should not have to pay anymore than $1,000, enclosed, regardless of who you use. All the reliable ones are bonded (insured) but always a good idea to double check.

DeMoise has no problem picking up in Arkansas while a few of the others do since we seem to be off the beaten track. Last move they did for us was in November when they brought all three of our cars from Arizona to Little Rock. Call Bill. He'll give you a good rate.
$1000.00 bucks from Little Rock to Seattle sounds a little low (approx. 2288 miles). That is a long distance to haul a car. We have never paid that little for any of our moves from Arkansas to and from the West Coast (Southern California) and Seattle is much further. If you can find someone to do it for that, PLEASE let us know who it is and how happy you were with their pick up, service and delivery. We ALL want to get good service and save a buck. We've used Intercity, DeMoise, Thomas C. Sunday and unfortunately, Gold Rush Motor sports (RUN from them!!!!). All of them were over $1000.00 even when gas was cheaper than it is now.

I used FedEx for my M3 from Clovis, NM to Nashville, TN and they were great. I think I paid about $1,200 enclosed, but was ok with it since Clovis is a couple of hours off I-40 in the middle of nowhere. I also used Concours Transport to ship my 993 enclosed from Detroit to Nashville and was happy with them- it cost about $600 in 2004 dollars.

Quotes I got to ship an M3 enclosed were a little over a $1 per mile. I think a lot depends where in the country you're picking up from and dropping off. Metroplex to Metroplex will be cheaper and probably offer more competitive options.

I just used Reliable for the first time because Intercity was not returning calls etc. I was quite let down because I really like Intercity. I'm not sure if they've started to fall apart or are just too busy to transport for me. Regardless, Bob Sellers (formally of Intercity) is now with Reliable and recognized who I was immediately and made sure I was taken care of correctly. I paid $1,700 per car (2) from San Diego area to Miami. It is just marginally higher than Intercity used to charge me, but they came through.
