We did!
This would have been your worst nightmare. LOL. It took me a couple of hours to get my car back to its previous normal dirt levels.
Thanks Terry for organizing / hosting this event. Next year we'll crash at your place so we can all wash our cars in your heated garage.

"Heated garage" my ***! Right now, my car is sitting the the driveway in hopes that the rains in the forecast for today will remove some of the grime before I do a thorough clean-up tomorrow...At least I have a pressure washer for the undercarriage...
In my opinion, even with the nasty conditions between Woody's Gap and Hogpen Gap, this was the best NYENGMR run we've had....It was great to meet the folks who had not run before and awesome to see the folks from past runs (I'm not going to attempt to name everyone for fear of leaving someone out).
As can be seen from the photos posted, we had a good variety of cars. Also, because the temperatures were reasonable (when considering the artic winds we've endured in past years) people had the opportunity to stand around and talk a little bit...That, to me, is as much fun as the driving (Well...almost).
Once again, as we left to go home, there were declarations to plan a warm weather run....We'll see if it happens...If not, there's always NYE 2011!
Best wishes for a safe, peaceful and prosperous new year!

I must confess, however, that at one point the M3 (and Dave's GT3 as well) blew past me as if I were standing still. They're both monsters.
This was a super trip - warmer, as Terry mentioned, so we could stand and chat without getting frostbite - and the wrapup in Helen over beer and brats was a blast. I'm already pumped for our next adventure, whenever that may be!

Agreed. I spent an hour just trying to get the dirt off as soon as we got back. I also think I gained a handful of new rock chips
Overall a great run... Sorry I had to cut it short - Helen sounds like it was fun!

I was ready to go for the first time (new in the area), but was afraid that my garage queen car was going to look like that.....
I am kind of happy that I did not go even though I really wanted to attend..
Hopefully there will be more gatherings like this.
Nice pictures by the way.

BTW, don't worry about getting your car a bit dirty from time to time, they were made to be driven. It will thank you for it!

I know. I'm kind of glad I didn't have the new wheels in time
Didn't Dave have a video camera mounted? Id love to see that.

We'll do it again. Look at the plus side, you didn't get your new wheels dirty.
This is the 4th annual run that we do in New Year's. Every year is different and we get to enjoy our cars with great group of friends, under all kind of different driving conditions. We do runs throughtout the year as well, some more impromptu than others. So stay tuned!

Partying in the N GA mountains for the holiday weekend. I'll work on the video this week. I even made the opening sequence like the original video from 3 yrs ago.
BTW. I had to wash the car before I left for the weekend.
Happy New Year
