I've always built my models. One that I have of the Honda CB750 Daytona racer has a chain (plastic rollers and pins and metal side plates) I had to put together.

you are right - he's dreaming with the price, but the high price is usually a selling strategy to get his stuff at the head of the list when sorted under "highest first". It usually comes with a "best offer" possibility.
FYI - i just sold a Naked Lady 993 1/18 GT2 on Ebay for $475 and a Pocher 993 model for about the same price - to France.
