Question Cup II wheel specs, numbers, info where?

Hi,

Did a search here and Wheelenhancement but couldn't find info.

What numbers should be inside 17" Cup II wheels 7" & 9" ???
7J & 9J ??
Porsche number?

How to recognize Cup II vs. Cup I ???
What's the difference?

I have a table with all the specs for all Fuchs wheels and hope to find a similar table for Cup wheels.

Please, no reply off topic like: go with 18's or go with another brand........blah, blah...............

I like 17" Cup II

Thx.

Look up these part #s on Pelican:
Part number for the fronts 993.362.124.00 and rears 993.362.128.00

Look up these part #s on Pelican964 Cup 1 wheels
17x7= ET55=965.362.124.00
17x9= Et55=965.362.128.00

They off set front and rear is 55mm The same is true of the Cup 1 wheels that came on the 964 cars

The Check this wheel thread and scroll down below is from Bill Verburg, right on the money.

I just happen to have pics of the inside of my rear Cup II wheel.

9Jx17-ET55
993 362 128 00

I have no doubt the front is:
7Jx17-ET55

Check this wheel thread and scroll down.

No new info; just repeats what has been mentioned...

Scroll all the way down on this PDF listing from Porsche.

Real Cup 2s are very easy to tell from the replicas. Look at the valve stem. On either side of it the real Cup 2s will have 7 and 55 for the fronts and 9 and 55 for the rears(8 and 55 for the very rare 968 front Cup 2s).

This is something you can see right on the car without taking the wheels off. Replicas do not have these numbers. Cup 1s, of course, look different. Spokes are much flatter.

This is a good site as well:

http://www.944racing.de/wheelweights.php

It even includes part numbers for the extremely rare 17x8 ET70 and 17x9 ET70, if you have an application that needs a high offset like mine.

EDIT: Doh! I see Mongrelcat beat me to it.
