Bob, swing by on Sunday if you want to check on the progress... should have a layer of paint on the interior by then. Unfortunately, 50 lbs lost means another 50 lbs of ballast (but at least it's no longer hanging off the rear of the car). BTW, did you remove the rear crash bar and bumper struts or just "debulk" it with a hole saw?

gone, The shocks weigh a lot. I don't plan on anyone tapping my back bumper on corner entry. I am still working on the trailer rehab. It should be pretty cool: 100inch screen ( the projector can also be taken outside and shown on the trailer side for a public 15ft screen with speaker ports on the outside wall), sat tv, two plasma displays for data logging. Fully insulated AC and heat.

Reinstalled the seat covers on the newly Arctic Silver-painted Recaro Pole Positions, and then finished rehabbing (light sanding, polishing, polishing some more) the front barrels for the Kinesis K28s I'm putting together.

Replaced a blown convertible top fuse and decided to leave my top as manual operation only. Now, if I can only figure out how to disable/remove the idiot light on the dash that is illuminated when the top is down.

Did the check-strap mod for both doors. Well worth the time and effort. I saw quite a few driver's door with the clicking/broken welds during my 993 search.
