Default Another Stage III video: Before and After

My son and I just installed a set of Fister Stage III mufflers and tips, both ceramic coated in velvet black. Here is a video before with the stock mufflers, and after with the Stage IIIs. Thanks, Darin. Sometimes I think they are a little bit too loud, but I guess I will just have to live with it.

Hey Dan, first let me say, if its too loud your too old!

My observation is it sounds awesome, hands down. What I was surprised was your stock mufflers though. Mine sounds like Bambi compared to your stock and are original as well. Anyway, nice upgrade and I do like the black.

don't worry....the growl will grow on you. Simply being near the car while idling is a blessing IMHO. Congratulations

Dan, it is cool that you and your son have a chance to work on your car together.
Hope the sound grows on you, I sure love it!

Here is one on the road. The mic' was mounted on the rear bumper.

I think it took us about an hour and a half, but some of that had to do with me being lazy and wasting time trying to do the install without jacking the car up - didn't have enough room to drop the old mufflers so I had to get out the floor jack.

Actually I was surprised at the sound of my stock mufflers, too. My son took the video. Maybe it had to do with the car being inside the garage, or my old mufflers are "failing".

I should clarify my comment about the loudness. There were times during my initial drive that the Stage IIIs were louder - maybe louder than I was expecting - not that I was having second thoughts about installing them. I love them! Thanks to Darin again.

BTW I am old. Thanks for all the positive feedback.

Dan, The StageIIIs sound great!! I'm really looking forward to doing the same this Spring. I'll be replacing the factory motorsound mufflers.
