Default 993 front bumper cover r&R

Need advice on reinstalling front bumper cover. Recently removed front bumper cover to fill in license plate bracket holes. When going to reinstall, it became very tricky to have the black rubber seals on the top side of the bumper (butt up against front of each fender under headlights) line up and match. Some of the factory staples popped out. Would it be best to keep and reuse these black rubber seals or get new ones from the dealer? Also, any idea what size staples to use when reattaching the black rubber seals? Want to make it look perfect again and would appreciate any advice.

I would replace the rubber beading with new. It will freshen up the nose of the car quite a bit. The pieces are inexpensive and should come with aluminum inserts you will need for the ends. Installation requires patience - see my writeup:

This may seem obvious but make sure they are securely anchored in place--if not, they will slowly drop out of sight!
