Default 993 Bodystyle question

Researching the different 993 bodystyles and was wondering if the 993 came in a widebody other than the C4 or Turbo versions.

Also can someone post a photo with a widebody and a narrow body next to each other?
Thanks

the brake calipers are black though...

the easiest way to spot a WB 993 is the boxed sill portion-IMHO. Turbo front bumpers can and do get added, but the beefier sill's are a dead give away.

C2S-standard brakes-calipers black
C4S-Big Red's like the Turbo

+1000. The "wideness" is there to be seen but the side sills are the biggest difference IMHO.

Here's more than a few pics for comparison:

My friend looked at a 95 S for sale today... it had vents on the rear panels like the Turbo S.....

I guess they were added.. Is this possible?

No "S" models were made for the 95 model year. Turbo S vents on the rear panel (like the 959) would point to some panel changing as well. Pics would help.

Were the front fenders on S cars and turbos also wider?

Please PM me if you'd like to chat about italiano bicciclette components AND Pcar body styles.

the indicated area is the easiest way to tell if a car is NB or WB.
This photo indicates a WB, NB cars do not have this "split and flaring" in the annotated area.

have fun

Craig

The front fenders are same width - but slightly different with the addition of a lower flared 'spat' to match in with the wider cill section.
The part numbers differ between the models, NB fenders can be modified, if you know what to do!
