Problem is, if you are like me, when it is that clean it is hard to drive it knowing it will soon be dirty again.

 

The stuff that I cleaned 2+ years ago still looked good so I just gave them a quick wipe down. The hard part is removing the cosmo then after that I don't really worry about it.

 

But that kind of dirt, road dust and dirt due to driving in the rain, washes away easily.

So true. I looked at Larpy's photos just before I changed my transmission oil. Ugh. This is on my must do list. Someday I'll post my photos!

^^I wish my fender wells looked like that but I haven't done them yet. I can't wash in my garage and my driveway is a hill so I never did them yet.....

What is the process to do this job? Do you just spray and wipe or is there a lot of scrubbing involved? Looks fantastic!!!

 

It isn't a spray on, hose off matter. I used small paint brushes and toothbrushes with Xenit and other products.

If you don't wrench on your own car, doing so might not be that important.

 

I admire the effort people put into their cars. Although people think Im relatively **** about the condition of mine (body, interior, paint) I have never had the time, inclination or equipment to get to this level of perfection.
Im kinda glad because being the Virgo type of person I am I would then worry about creating a mess using the damn thing and having to get in under there to make it all nice again - especially given the high rainfall in our climes.
All that said it's a very individual thing and I am very impressed on the results that can be had on 15 year old + car. I need to find more time LOL!

 

I figure it is once and done so now that it is clean I am done.
I usually spray it on and let it soak for a while then repeat until the
Gunk usually just wipes off.
