OT:Motor Trend/Rush Limbaugh feud

Motor Trend was the first magazine I subscribed to, and the first one I discontinued............in the mid '70s when I was barely a teen. Even then I could see through them.
But back to the matter at hand, no matter what you think of Limbaugh, is the Volt anything more than a blip on the automotive scene? I suppose we can only determine that in 5, 10, even 20 years. There is serious hype here, and given GM's layout at the LA Auto Show, I think they're rather bipolar with heralding this car as the great savior when not 100 yards away are a bevy of 500+ HP CTS-V's. (Actually I think the whole industry is bipolar with the whole green/eco thing v. the Big Fast Cars and Trucks everyone still aspires to on each end of the spectrum, yet the huge part of the bell curve is manufacture and sale of reasonably economical, safe, mid priced sedans, minivans, and SUVs.)
