There is something about the 993 that just tugs at my heart. Yes, newer models are faster, arguably handle better, etc. The the GT3 regardless of generation is phenomenal. Time as moved on. But, my 993 has soul, as crazy as that sounds.

Really, how fast on the street do you want to go? This car is as fast as I care to go. As already said, the GT3 is so capable that the speed needed for a thrill just gets out of sight. Plus, having had two 996 series cars, they just don't have the intimate sports car feel that the air cooled cars have. The increase in size looses that "snugness".
