I have always felt 18" was just the "right" size for our cars, but damn those looks awesome.

Your car looks fantastic,.....the racks are fine if you don't mind the added wind noise.

Dammit, Benton....Just when I was feeling good about my decision to put a deposit down on the uber rare 18" BBS..I see your ride and am now second guessing my conservative decision. Your car looks great and think I may have a set of 18" BBS for sale soon.
Thanks for the perfect example to change my mind.

Thanks everyone! I have to give the "look back" whenever I'm walking away... OK, maybe two or three times actually.

Sicko, here is another shot to help sway your decision. Excuse the car being dirty, we had some rain yesterday:

Nice looking wheels but IMO they're too large for 993, you need a little sidewall in an old car like ours.

To be honest with you, I haven't noticed a lick of difference in these and the 18" wheels. The rear sidewalls are the same size as the 18s at 285/30, but the fronts are a bit shorter. The 235/40 18" fronts that were on had an approximate sidewall height of 3.7" (just from calculating the aspect ratio), and these at 225/35 are around 3.1".

The car has PSS9s, so it isn't cushy in the first place--especially on rough roads. But as far as a decrease in ride quality between the 18s and 19s, I would say that there is no discernible difference.

PS, as far as the sidewall height is concerned, one could easily use a 225/40 or 235/40 up front. I chose not to so that the overall diameter of the fronts would stay close to the same as it was with the 18s.
