Got the chance to drive the Cayman for a week – loan car whilst mine was in for its major. Couldn’t help but compare and very grateful … but ...
Hated the constant transmission whine, tyre road noise always there and the delayed power take up.
Loved the cornering and the braking. And the modern niceties were nice … but when I jumped back into the 993 … WOW …. now that’s why there’s no substitute for good ole fashioned horsepower. And that “Howl” … I’m happy, again
