Default Our new future Porsche Driver

My Wife & I had a Baby on Monday, we are both doing well, but have not had a lot of sleep.

We named her Sophia, she is 8.2lbs, & 21in long. Of course has a great set of lungs!!!

No rides in the 911, yet, we have been unable to get a infant seat to fit in the back

Congratulations! It will change your life in so many ways that you can't imagine.

Baby seat will have to be mounted using the seat belt but without the base (they are usually made to work that way in case you can't fit the base. Most likely you will want to use a Mighty Tite ratchet or replace the three point belt with an old style two point belt to make sure it is tight. If you have finesse, you can get the three point belt to ratchet and tighten down sufficiently.

Congrats! My girls are both of driving age and aren't interested in the Porsche at all. I'm not sure if it is a good thing or a bad thing.

Congrats! I won't lie to you- the first couple of weeks after bringing the baby home are terrible. Hang in there- the real fun is just around the corner. Now I can't even remember the days of sleeping in!

One downside to the 911 is that the rear-facing infant seat doesn't fit very well. My daughter started riding in the 911 once she was 1 yrs old (she is now 2.5). On the plus side, babies require lots of trips to the store to get formula, diapers, etc., so you should still be able to sneak in some seat time!

Congrats! Enjoy every moment
(even though you'll be pretty useless for the first several months...)
