lol...I agree, as I hate light clutch pedals. I get out my Dad's GT3 and almost put the clutch pedal thru the floor of the Cayman and 993 - how do I make them a little harder is what I want to know!?

Well it all depends, if you have a motorsports clutch, like me,you definitly will need it, how it works
I dont know, but t does,it has to do with the piston size ratio, cheers.

I am also a fan of hard(er) pedals. One thing I did was back the clutch assist spring adjustment all the way out (just pull your floorboard out and back the 4mm allen bolt out). It was a subtle change, but one I appreciate every time I let the clutch out..

For all members that have a LWF-FYI
When you installed your LWF you had a choice of PP. You can use a stock or turbo PP. The turbo PP on a non-4WD 993 is much harder.(no hydraulic assist ).There is no change in performance ,just a harder clutch action. For those of you that want less day to day drivability, the turbo PP is for you.
It's not a choice between a 993 and a Prius, but, a 993 or a 996/7.Aisin has been supplying Porsche with both auto and manual transmissions for 11 years. Aisin and Toyota are virtually the same company as Toyota owns a large part of Aisin and the do most of there R&D together.
