That's a good way to look at it.

I'll take one of everything. 13"-18" wheels....motorcycle engine...flat six....V-8, or more....aero/non-aero. Sheesh, it looks like Fernando Alonzo even loves driving go-karts.

Everyone wants to to be a race car driver /hero etc. The fact is no one with half a brain will select a kit car with motorcycle engine on 13 inch tires to compete.

Radical SR3:
Radical SR8 at Nurbugring:
And the video of the run:

I have to admit that I don't know anything about the differences between an SR3 and an SR8 but I would just let the numbers talk...

That would be one very quick 912E! And having been passed while at full chat in 4th gear by Rick DeMan in his SR8, I do know how fast those things appear to be. I think Mr. D was approaching Warp 3 or 4 when he went by. All I could think of was "where the hell did THAT come from"? Then all was a blur.

I've done about 30 or so laps @ MSR with Pat Long in something similar to his regular office chair....a GT3 cup. We never hit the top end, as we were on a 1.7 mile technical circuit both times I had him as a coach, but boy can he make rights and lefts.

Yes, a 1.3L Radical can corner very well for what it is. Same as a 912E--even on 225's if you went full tilt on the suspension you'd not give anything up in the turns. Hit a straight, however.............

Well the SR8 has absolutely no problems on a straight. Rick went by me on one and left me like I was standing still, even with my foot fully planted on the throttle and approaching redline in 4th.
