Default distributor belt

I called Sunset Porsche to purchase a replacement distributor belt
(part number 930 602134 00)
and was surprised to find out that they dont carry it anymore and only sell the remanufactured distributor instead.
Does anyone have another source for the belt?
thanks
jeff

Try Pelican Parts or Paragon Products. I think I bought mine from Sunset a year or so ago, though.

BTW, one of the mechanics I use does the distributor swap and prefers that method. Not sure if he has dealt with warranty or bearing issues or something. He is known for being e=xtremely fair pricewise though, so I am sure he's not just getting extra money.

To do a distributor refurb? I think my guy, Wicky, buys them from Porsche or one of the big aftermarket companies.

The places I mentioned to check:

my wrench also does the exchange. He is in New York, near Rochester...send him off an email for the question. I'm sure he would provide help.

Steve did mine a year or so ago. Quick turnaround, good service, valueable Rennlister, recommended.
