'98 C2S FS - More Pics and Final Price
Several folks have asked for more detailed pics of the interior/exterior in order to assess cosmetic condition, so please see below. Items of note include:
- Worn outboard driver's seat bolster
- Cracked third brake light lense (all LEDs work)
- Carrera S script on decklid has broken "C" and "S" that were reaffixed
Otherwise very clean and nice considering age and miles.
I will take the first $24k that someone commits, but I will go no lower. My wife and I sold her BMW over the weekend and got more than we had hoped in trade for the Volvo last night. If the P-car doesn't sell for the asking price, I'll just hold on to it.
Thanks.

Thanks guys... I feel the same way about the value. Times are pretty tough out there I guess. I spoke recently to a very reputable local independent dealer here and they said sales have been remarkably quiet.

Kind of in discussion right now about the car. I also found an Arena Red Cab for sale. It was the 1st one I owned in 2005 (hence my screen name - Arena993). Be kind of cool to have my 1st one back. I am on the hunt though. Sell me yours it looks very nice ha ha.

I dont know that is a lot for a lot of miles. Once you go over 100k I guess things drop. I did sell my 4S for less than that with 1/2 the miles on it. Now it did go to my father, so there might have been some 'better' deal going on there, but none the less, $24k is still high I think but depends on what someone wants. I would have to think closer to $20 is possible.
Just my $.02

I'd buy it if were on the east coast. With the topend done and the high miles, it would make a good driver.....put a TS tail on it and it would look as good or better than the over priced low miles TS's out there....
