Default new sound on start-up

--recently had a shop diagnose and fix my high CO emmisions. Was MAF, but they checked fuel pressure, dist. belt, maybe a few other things, so there was some stuff removed during the debug.

Now on startup it sounds like a hair dryer is running for a minute. Didn't used to hear that. I am guessing that's normal, aux air injection or something, but this has me curious why I didn't hear it before . Thoughts?

The SAI blower runs for only a minute or so on startup. Maybe it wasn't running before and the shop woke it up. You can check if it is the SAI blower by pulling the 40 amp fuse in the panel on the left wall of the engine bay. Then start the engine, and if the noise isn't there, it was the SAI blower.

Yup, it's the SAI running.
