Cosidering a high mileage C4S
My research shows a fairly strong consensus that a buyer should not be too concerned with a high mileage car, as long as there is a comprehensive record of maintenance, and buyer does due diligence with a PPI. That puts a car like this 115K mile Polar on Blue 1996 C4S: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/scz/ctd/1983735837.html in play for a buyer like myself. So, does anyone in the Rennlist community have any data or opinion on this car (WP0AA2994TS320557)?

P.S. I'm beginning to feel like I should have given more though on race911 (Ken's) High mile Arctic/Chestnut (my favorite combo) when he was having a moment of delirium and was considering selling about a year ago. Like he said, at least a buyer would know what they were getting....

I'd check out the classifieds here on Rennlist as well. Nothing wrong with a high mileage 993 if it's been maintained correctly.
Also, should you purchase from a Rennlister or Pelican member etc., be sure to look through old posts of theirs. Sometime you can see from their old posts if their car that have been sitting for a long time because it's been over-priced and you can use that info to leverage yourself a good deal.
Best of luck!
