911s vs. 993 in Octane
Forgive me if I missed this topic in an earlier post but the September (actually October) issue of Octane has an interesting article about the 911S vs. 993. They approach it from the standpoint of the early 911 RS being an excellent, fun driver but now too expensive to drive regularly. The 911S and 993 were chosen as the next best to drive but still fairly affordable and then they compared the two. The winner........993 based on feel, comfort, agility and build quality. The writer said he'd take either one but preferred the 993 if he could have only one.

I set out looking for a 73 911S Targa and ended up with the 993 Cab. I think for functionality and comfort, the 993 is the way to go, but that S will sure be worth a handsome price soon! Heck, it already is.
