Eff Vin Diesel and Paul Walker. I have no idea if Jordana Brewster starred in any other FnF movies, but I'd love to see more of her. Smokin' hot girl-next-door.

edit: Stickers or intercooler vents?
I'd say they are garden variety 996 C2s with a big fiberglass wing and a shiny paint job. Those look like vinyl graphics on the side to emulate a GT3 I think.

If history serves as any guide you are probably right. The Crawford STI they rolled and totalled in the last movie was a regular WRX hatch that had been converted to FWD. If you watch when the car rolls in the movie you can see it's got no driveshaft going to the rear wheels.

Man oh man. Back in the summer of 2000 I was a young law student driving around in my lowered Acura Integra. Having a modified import was different back then- the parts weren't available at Pep Boys or Wal-Mart and it was fairly rare to see a modified Honda driving around the streets of Nashville, TN. One night me and a group of guys went to see this new movie called "Fast and the Furious". At dinner after the movie, I remember telling everyone that modified Hondas were about to "jump the shark" as a result of the movie and that I better get a new car soon. Four months later I bought an E36 M3 and, sure enough, modified Civics and Integras exploded after the movie became popular.

Fast forward the clock ten years later and I'm looking at shots from Fast and Furious 5 featuring Porsche 911s with graphics down the side. Am I going to have to sell my car now before its played out? Fortunately, the entry point for a Porsche 911 is high enough that I probably don't need to worry about driving past high schools and construction sites filled with poorly modded Porsches anytime soon.

I should point out that Fast and the Furious wasn't bad for everyone. My brother bought a mint Supra TT a couple of years before the movie came out and the value shot through the roof after the movie became popular. Better yet, every time someone cranks a Supra up to 1000 hp and paints in pink, my brother's stock Supra becomes that much more valuable!

Looks larger then the GT3 club sport.

What threw me off was the black areas on the bumper cover. They looked like the exit vents for the GT2 intercoolers.

After seeing your photo's the vents are too high and must be 2F2F sticker kit.

That's what I'm seeing. Some clues: black rear bumperettes (99-01 Gen.1 996, US/Canada which eliminates GT3), NB which eliminates GT2. As I'm sure they'll end up crashed, I'd bet they're early US spec 996s with a far-from-good but good-from-far paint job and various tack on spoilers. One of them might even be a Tip!

Oh and Mark, +1000.

Ok well the First movie was fun.....2 and 3 were not so good but 4 redeemed itself.

Oh and by the way are we forgetting the Caymen in Fast and Furous 4 (When the girl meets the two leads in the desert before the final chase scene). It had a weird body kit on it but it was still a Caymen.

I will be interested to see the 5th movie just for the heck of it and of 996s are it hey bonus to keep me watching even if it sucks like 2 and 3.

You can tell by the rear bumpers near the exhaust tips that they're all 3.4 liter 996s. So no GT2 or 3. Probably just cheap C2s with paint and wings.

No, you own a 993. 996s are getting down into that entry point range though...
