My day with Scott Pruett & Patrick Long! @MMC
What a day it was yesterday @MMC.
I was there to cover the Lexus LFA launch/drive with Scott Pruett.
The highlight of the day was getting to ride co-pilot with Scott for several all out laps in the V-10 LFA. He was talking to me the whole time while going 170!.
As a side treat Patrick Long (factory p-car driver) was on hand testing a 997 cup car for JLowe racing. I was able to hang out with him & convinced him to drive my friends 964 cup car during some down time. He is very friendly even signing my friend's helmet & cup car roof.

Rich, that is amazing. Man I am so jealous. Tks for sharing. Any sound clips of the Lexus? I wonder if it sounds like the ad, where it shattered a champagne glass...

Gappy, sorry-no sound bites but I can tell you the car is whisper quiet until you get into it. Then all hell brakes loose. Sounds very exotic.
Lexus hired Yamaha sound techs to engineer the exhuaust note!.
