Default Help needed with HVAC...

This morning I slightly incresased the cabin temp (9 o'clock) which I seldomly do. After a few minutes I returned it to the normal position (7 o'clock) The drivers seems to be stuck in the heat zone while the passengers is normal. I tried the AC - drivers blows warm air, passengers is normal. WTF?

Thanks for the link. I can't find anything in the articles that would affect just the drivers side. A vacuum leak would be consistent with both drivers and passengers side, no?

Wait, your answer is sure to come. There is a motorized flap down by your left foot. It is stuck or the motor is out. An easy DIY.

The experts will fill you in with a much more technical answer and likely a DIY link.

If nothing else, this post serves as a bump...

Do any experts know where I can find the fix for this "flap" issue? I would love for this to really be a DIY project.

They all stick occasionally. I just give mine a couple swift smacks with my fist (the carpeted side wall above the dead pedal.) Works every time. Same with the passenger side.

Well I'm not an expert, but I did find my A/C issue just by inspecting things.

Have a look around...under the dash, under the engine lid, etc.

There's only one fix for stuck air valves: put in a new one. The most common fault is not repairable I'm afraid. Have a look on my web page mentioned above.

A good smack may do it, but I had to take mine out and give the flap a little push. Been fine for almost a year now. Bob
