I've had my undertray on since new. I've run the car in southern VA and now Philadelphia. It doesn't run too hot. It hasn't affected my engine's longevity on bit. It makes the car go faster.

The car already has a cylinder head temp sensor has it not? When I plug my durametric in it is one of the paramerters that I can bring up in real time.
If the flapper boxes are hanging, which they can do with the tray off ...
...I highly recommend you go out and check to see if the flapper boxes are sagging at all.

I think what Goofball meant to say was that If your Flapper Boxers shorts are hanging or sagging, he doesn't recommend taking the tray off as they can get snagged.
So, basically, if you wear Flapper Boxers, better not drive your 993 without the tray on. Simple enough rule.
