I do not suppose this has any relation to the new Italia, but cars that spend more time in storage, then on the road seem to succumb to the nesting and associated chewing of rodents on electrical and fuel lines. Then a quick run to the restaurant, yacht club, or beach house, and poof . . .
It is a shame to lose any of them in such a way, they are beautiful to look at.
