American Ferrari 458 Italia burns to the ground. For the last three months, one Ferrari 458 Italia's been destroyed every ten days. This one is the first victim in the U.S.A.

This pile of burnt metal used to be a Ferrari 458 Italia. The fire that consumed this Ferrari 458 Italia was so bad the only recognizable pieces left are the wheels.

The car's engine caught fire in France when the driver was out doing some mountain carving. Horrifying.

At this rate, the new Italia will be the rarest Ferrari on Earth.

This customized, supposedly $470k Italia was being transported from Saudia Arabia when it 'attracted' a fire to its warehouse

Reportedly, the Dolce & Gabbana interior work alone cost $110k

I LOVE the new 458 but there sure seem to be lots of fires with the first batch of cars. Seems to happen quite a bit with Italian exotics.

Are there any ideas out there as to the cause? Lots of Lambos and Ferraris going up in flames.
