Surprised how quickly these came to the front door from this source linked above (http://www.design911.co.uk/fu/pt179_...-After-Market/):

Ordered 01/03 and arrived this morning.....

RL is awesome.

Those look very nice. I think it confirms that I am going to order them. Personally, I like the look better than the colored crest, for what I am going for anyway.

Next up will be clear corners.

Oz-- Incredible, IMHO. Thanks for the follow-up photos.

(Kudos to RLer foudeS for the original link!)

Brian-- Like you, I don't prefer the goldish color in the stock crest. The above silvers seem perfect; another option - hopefully helpful:

RLer No HTwo O (Bill), whom you may have purchased a steering wheel from, sold these on RL in August. Best to go 'bump' his thread for more info, since the source was asked, but left unresolved on his "FS New Black & Silver Porsche Crest Wheel Caps" thread. IMO, they're the caps Porsche should offer.

After searching for full silver crest wheel centers to 100% match the jeweler's quality silver hood badge, I'd given up. Even Ralph Boothe's wife confirmed he had none to offer. After a couple PMs to Old Guy, however, my luck turned around. Thrilled when UPS delivered these rarities; with theft-deterrent backings:

Jon Paul-- ^^ White-Out?
You're doing great: Let us know what you find

Brian-- Agreed, nice to have options other than gold-colored crests. The following silver with red works for my red car (with clear corners -- like your mods )

This will be the route I take.

The crest looks nice as it isn't just printed on the cap. Unfortunately my car is no where near the caliber of where you have yours Jager--it is just gorgeous! But I am enjoying it, so that is the important thing, right?

Really appreciate the kind nod, Brian, but you're way too humble, IMO: You have a stellar example, & I'm glad you kept it in the RL family.

Default New caps on wheels

I finally got my car back and popped in the new crests this morning....sorry for the ugly shots (iphone, dirty car and dirty garage)

With the original caps

With the new crests

Close up of the rear wheel

Now if I could find a hood crest to match.....

^OZ, those look great. Nice wheels. Maybe you should consider the black hood crests Andreas is selling. Just a thought.

Thanks. Thinking about those from Andreas. I like seeing the crest on the hood but If I can't find a crest that looks nice with these caps, I may end up with the black. Need to get rid of the gold.

Eric at Bumperplugs has very nice Silver hood crests. Not cheap, but very nice quality.
