Brian, glad you are sticking to a light weight plan.

Can't wait to see the final product.

I'm leaning that way too

besides the headroom and weight advantages a non sun roof car can have a taller rollbar which is a big safety plus for us tall guys

^^ Yep, there's more than one good reason to do it to a car that will see track duty, Bill. I'm only 5'9''-ish and I "believe" my DAS bar is covering my helmet, but picking up a bit of excess head room is fine by me! Plus, I've never been a big fan of the open air, wind the hair experience. As they say in the UK "horses for courses".

Maybe the original owner lived in a rainy/snowy climate that necessitated AWD and lessened the need for a sunroof?

Based on my recent sale his number is correct. Just takes the right phone call to come along.......after you wade through all the low ballers and tire kickers that call and ask a million questions and then disappear forever.

Unless something has changed recently, factory OE designated four passenger cars, even without factory equipped seat belts in the rear, don't qualify. Friend who commutes Oakland-to-SF found out the hard way with her targa one day, after a couple of years doing it.

I would do almost anything for a NB sunroof delete coupe.

Not much for a 4S though.
