No options stick on the trunk lid.
Is it possible to get a list of options from the VIN?

1. Extra Headroom
2. Elimination of mechanical issues and leaks
3. Rarity
4. Weight
Also, physics is not my strength but eliminating x pounds from the top of a car probably has added benefits than eliminating the same weight at a lower point.

Sunroof in a real sports car is stupid and doesn't look as good as the non sunroof roof, it's another luxury item sports car can do without.

Could care less about rarity. IMHO the main advantages with a solid roof are weight savings and rigidity. To bad most Americans don't agree.

Another reason not to have one of these in a performance car is that they can, and sometimes do, launch themselves into the air at (serious) speed. I saw this happen a couple of years ago at a v-max event in the UK. Fellow RL'r MOD500 had his unit detach itself at something north of 150 mph. Given the weather that day windows were closed for his run, prompting speculation that it had been caused by a pressure differential.

I "added" the rear seat delete to my 96 Cab....
It was not alot of work.....Just took time and a little muscle.
I eliminated the bar on the top center and the two "hoops" that hold objects
from going forward. I made a "custom" mat for the top (with a Porsche logo) from factory carpet and I did a makeshift electrical system to light the interior of the two cubbies and to enable the electric locking.
I am very pleased with the results.
I DID have to modify the "boot" that covers the top. I added clasps, etc, to hold it down at speed.
The benifits are many...extra storage on top and in the Cubbies...and it is now a true two seater for our local carpool lanes.
